Public Health England

Freya is a PhD student at the University of Sussex and UK Health Security Agency. Her research explores how online support groups and group identification affects the experiences of Long Covid, including the effect they may have on mental and physical health outcomes.

Before beginning her PhD, Freya completed an MSc in Behaviour Change at University College London and worked as a Behavioural Science Advisor in the Behavioural Science and Insights Unit at UK Health Security Agency. This work focused on the COVID-19 response with a particular focus on how enforcement was used during the pandemic; barriers and facilitators to vaccination; and the behavioural impacts of COVID-19 certification.
