New paper on assessing behaviour during a flu pandemic
1 December, 2014
During a flu pandemic, it is important for public health officials to understand how the public are reacting. Gathering data on this can be easier said than done, however. The HPRU team, in tandem with colleagues from University College London, have therefore developed a new questionnaire which can be used with confidence during the next pandemic to assess levels of worry, behaviour change and perceptions among the population. The questionnaire is freely available for researchers to use or adapt as they see fit. The open access paper detailing the research and the questionnaire is available here.
