Louise recently completed her PhD in the Unit, investigating factors associated with uptake of the child influenza vaccine and predictors of re-vaccination. She also investigated factors associated with parental perception of side effects following their child’s influenza vaccination. Louise is interested in the psychological aspects of vaccination and symptom perception and how communications can be modified to increase adherence to vaccination and decrease perception of side effects from vaccination. Her current research includes investigating what adolescent think about vaccines and parental preferences towards mandatory vaccination.
