Alex completed a BSc in Psychology with Cognitive Science at the University of Sussex and a MSc in Psychiatric Research at King’s College London in 2017.  Her research focuses on risk and resilience pathways.  She is undertaking a PhD in developmental psychopathology in the Department of Psychology, IoPPN, using ‘big data’ techniques and epidemiological cohorts to examine the role of the father in promoting resilience in their children.  Alex is currently working as a research assistant in the NIHR HPRU, supporting the team to understand the impact of restrictions put in place in response to the covid-19 pandemic.
